Ciklo Talent is seeking an experienced Product Owner for Digital Assets & Token Ecosystem for a European fintech client. You will own the token platform, defining strategy, token utility, rewards, and loyalty mechanics while ensuring security, scalability and regulatory alignment.

You will translate strategic tokenomics into robust technical requirements and collaborate with Engineering, Legal & Compliance, CRM and senior leadership to drive end-to-end product delivery.

Formación

• 3–5+ years of Product Management / Product Ownership in FinTech or digital assets.
• Strong understanding of tokenomics and blockchain-based products.
• Experience with building transaction-based or rewards ecosystems.
• Ability to translate tokenomic concepts into technical requirements.

About the Company

Our client is a growing European Digital Asset company operating at the intersection of traditional finance, blockchain technology and digital assets. The company provides sophisticated digital asset solutions to private and corporate clients and operates within the European regulatory environment under MiCAR. As the business continues to scale, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner - Digital Assets & Token Ecosystem (m/f/d) to take ownership of a proprietary token and rewards ecosystem and drive its next stage of development.

About the Role

This is a high-ownership product role sitting at the intersection of Product Strategy, Tokenomics and Financial Technology. You will take end-to-end ownership of a proprietary token ecosystem and its underlying infrastructure, defining how token utility, rewards and loyalty mechanics evolve as the platform grows. Your focus will be on building a scalable, secure and compliant token economy that creates tangible value for users while integrating seamlessly with the wider digital asset platform. You will work closely with Engineering, Legal & Compliance, CRM and senior leadership to translate strategic and tokenomic concepts into robust technical products.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the Token Product: Take responsibility for the complete product lifecycle of the proprietary token ecosystem, including strategy, roadmap, infrastructure and ongoing development.
• Design Token & Reward Architecture: Define sophisticated business logic around token utility, rewards, portfolio-based eligibility and loyalty mechanics.
• Develop Ecosystem Utility: Build and scale features including trading fee benefits, reward boosters, exclusive user experiences and VIP tier structures.
• Manage Token Economy Mechanics: Oversee internal ledger structures, closed-loop token mechanics and automated reconciliation processes to ensure system integrity and accurate token accounting.
• Translate Tokenomics into Product: Turn strategic tokenomic concepts into clear technical requirements, user stories and product specifications for Engineering and Design.
• Build Robust Financial Infrastructure: Define transaction logic, API requirements, reconciliation processes and system rules for a scalable digital asset environment.
• Navigate Regulation: Work closely with Legal & Compliance to ensure new product functionality aligns with European regulatory requirements, particularly MiCAR.
• Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Act as the central product owner and coordinate stakeholders across Engineering, IT, Compliance, CRM and C-Level leadership.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5+ years of Product Management / Product Ownership experience, ideally within FinTech, Digital Assets, Crypto, Payments or another complex financial technology environment.
• Proven experience with financial ledgers, wallet infrastructure, payment systems, reward ecosystems or similar transaction-based products.
• Strong understanding of digital assets, tokenomics and blockchain-based products.
• Experience with concepts such as staking, rewards, yield mechanics, token utility and VIP / loyalty structures.
• A highly technical and systems-oriented mindset with the ability to understand and define complex transaction logic, APIs and reconciliation processes.
• Experience translating abstract business or tokenomic requirements into structured technical specifications.
• Strong experience working with Engineering teams in agile / Jira-driven environments.
• Ability to communicate complex product and architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable collaborating closely with Legal & Compliance in a regulated environment.
• Independent, structured and comfortable taking significant ownership in a fast-moving organization.

Nice to Have

Experience migrating Web3 / on-chain token infrastructure into centralized, custodial or enterprise ledger environments would be particularly valuable.
