Job summary

Ria Money Transfer, a leading remittance company, is seeking a Product Manager to shape what we ship, improve user experiences, and drive measurable business impact across web and mobile.

You’ll partner with design, engineering, and regional teams to launch features, optimize flows, and raise the standard for online money transfers globally. Hybrid work with in-office days is offered in Madrid and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

3+ years of product experience in software, fintech, or online services.
Fluent in English, with experience working across time zones and remote teams.
Degree in business, design, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Deep expertise in at least one: product data, UX design, or web development.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We're looking for a Product Manager who is data-driven, outcome-focused, and ready to build. You'll help define what we ship, improve our user experience, and make sure the product drives real business impact.

You’ll work closely with design, engineering, and regional teams to launch features, improve flows, and raise the standard for how people send money internationally.

What You’ll Do

Discover Opportunities

Use product data, customer input, and market signals to surface opportunities.
Translate customer and data insights into problem statements worth solving.
Prioritize which problems to solve based on evidence from research and experiments.

Drive Execution

Write clear specs that enable fast, confident development.
Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and QA to ship high-quality features.
Maintain momentum by managing trade-offs and removing blockers.

Own Outcomes

Own a segment of the customer journey across web and mobile.
Define success metrics and tie your work directly to them.
Push for measurable impact, not just output.
Own delivery and results, adjusting your approach based on outcomes and applying learnings to future initiatives.

Align Stakeholders

Plan for compliance, legal, and operational needs early to move fast without risking quality or user experience.
Build alignment by explaining the 'why' behind decisions, not just seeking agreement.
Work with regional teams to support local needs without compromising on the core experience.
Ensure alignment with company strategy while making trade-offs and opportunity costs visible to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of product experience in software, fintech, or online services.
Fluent in English, with experience working across time zones and remote teams.
Degree in business, design, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Deep expertise in at least one of: product data, UX design, or web development.
Willing to work in a hybrid setup, with at least Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office.
Reside in the city where the position is based or be open to relocating.
Authorized to work in the country where this role is based.
Proven record of shipping and iterating on impactful products.
Strong product sense and understanding of user behavior.
Hands‑on, with a bias for action and comfortable diving into the details.
Able to zoom in and out between strategy and execution.
Clear communicator who backs decisions with evidence.
Familiar with tools like Segment, Amplitude, Branch, Posthog or Iterable.
You regularly explore new apps and often find yourself analyzing what makes them work, or not.
