DKB Code Factory is seeking a Product Owner to own and evolve the roadmap across diverse teams, linking discovery to delivery while working with engineering and UX partners. The role offers exposure to a regulated banking environment and rapid growth as product practices scale across locations.

You will drive data-informed prioritization, write clear user stories, manage stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in English (German a plus). The position is based in Valencia, Spain.

Formación

• 3–7+ years in Product Owner/PM/BA in software delivery.
• Experience in agile Scrum/Kanban with backlog management.
• Experience owning roadmaps and coordinating releases.
• Excellent user story writing and acceptance criteria.
• Experience running discovery with UX and engineering.
• Strong KPI analytics to inform decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.
• Fluent in English; German a plus.

This role offers hands-on responsibility, exposure to a regulated banking environment, and rapid professional growth as you scale product practices across teams and locations.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously evolve the Product Roadmap, making priorities, milestones and cross-team dependencies transparent to stakeholders.
• Maintain a continuously prioritized Product Backlog, ensuring user stories meet Definition of Ready with clear acceptance criteria and are aligned to roadmap objectives.
• Lead and facilitate discovery activities (user research, prototyping, experiments) with UX and engineering to validate problems before building.
• Drive delivery of customer-facing increments with measurable adoption and business impact; define and track success metrics and instrumentation.
• Coordinate release planning, manage cross-team dependencies, and improve delivery predictability and throughput.
• Reduce rework and time-to-value by improving requirements clarity, earlier validation and close collaboration with engineering and QA.
• Champion data-informed prioritization and collaborate with stakeholders to balance customer value, technical sustainability and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years’ experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst or similar role within software product delivery.
• Proven experience working in agile teams (Scrum and/or Kanban) and strong backlog management, prioritization, and refinement skills.
• Experience owning product roadmaps and coordinating cross-team dependencies and releases.
• Excellent user story writing and acceptance criteria definition.
• Demonstrable experience running discovery activities and partnering with UX and engineering to validate solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset; experience defining and tracking product KPIs and using analytics to drive decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable working in cross-functional international teams.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). German is a plus but not required.
• Experience with API-driven software environments and familiarity with regulatory/compliance considerations in banking or financial services.
