ASBIS is seeking a Product Manager to own and drive the development of our software platform, serving as the key link between business, engineering, and stakeholders. You will translate business needs into clear tasks for engineers, coordinate with mechanical design to align software with hardware requirements, and manage roadmaps and backlogs to ensure timely delivery.

We are looking for a Product Manager to own and drive the development of our software platform, acting as the key link between business, engineering, and stakeholders.

The Product Manager will translate business needs into clear, structured tasks for software engineers, while also collaborating closely with Mechanical Design Engineers to ensure alignment between software functionality and physical product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap and backlog for the software platform
• Gather, analyze, and formalize business and technical requirements
• Translate requirements into clear tasks, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
• Plan, prioritize, and track development activities, ensuring timely delivery
• Act as the main interface between business stakeholders and engineering
• Work closely with Mechanical Design Engineers to coordinate hardware–software interaction
• Align scope, priorities, and expectations across cross‑functional teams
• Support release planning and ensure delivered functionality meets business goals

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role
• Strong Business Analyst background (requirements gathering, documentation, analysis)
• Project Management experience, including planning, coordination, and delivery tracking
• Experience working with software development teams and managing engineering backlogs
• Ability to translate business objectives into clear technical requirements
• Experience working in cross‑functional environments involving engineering and technical teams
• Experience working with software platforms and development lifecycles
• Understanding of dependencies, scope management, and prioritization
• Experience coordinating between software and hardware / mechanical teams

Nice to Have

• Experience in engineering‑driven, industrial, automation, or technical products
• Background in environments combining software and physical products
• Experience working with technical systems, platforms, or infrastructure products
