Descripción del empleo

At Joko, our mission is to we help consumers save time and money when shopping online or in-store. Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 105 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 6 million users already save money every day at 10,000+ merchants with Joko. From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts, we've kept expanding our products to make shopping smarter. Today, Joko is an AI shopping app: with Juno, our shopping assistant, users can find the right product at the best price in only a few seconds, with recommendations that get sharper the more they use it. Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US. It's still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us.

Our Product Team

Led by Fabien, our VP Product, Joko's Product team groups the passionate individuals behind our users' delight! From brainstorming to development to launch, the Product team's main mission is to turn ideas into reality by working hand-in-hand with the Engineering, Design, and Business teams.

  • Business lines owns the current core value proposition, covering online shopping, in-store experiences, and gift cards, each run as a dedicated team.
  • Scale focuses on growing and amplifying this value through growth, international expansion, and shared core user experiences across the app.
  • Juno builds the next value proposition: an AI shopping assistant that finds the right product at the best price in seconds, backed by a universal catalog of what merchants actually sell.
  • Platform serves teams and non user-facing stakeholders, owning internal tools, infrastructure, compliance, and operational scalability.
The Catalog task force

Juno is Joko's most ambitious bet: becoming the front door to shopping. An AI assistant that understands what someone is genuinely looking for, searches thousands of merchants at once, and gets them to the right decision in seconds rather than hours - the reflex people reach for before they buy anything.

The Juno tribe is split into two task forces. Engine owns the assistant users talk to. Catalog owns the product catalog that makes any of it possible.

Catalog is the backbone of Juno. When a user asks Juno for something, comparing products only works if we hold a catalog that covers our merchants well enough, with product records uniform enough to be compared against each other, and prices fresh enough to be trusted. Everything downstream depends on getting this right. No player has solved it at scale anywhere in the world, which is why we believe it is where Juno's real moat gets built.

This role is the first Product Manager on the task force, working alongside a Product Designer and software engineers. The product you own is a very large, very demanding database and the systems that keep it alive. The work is entirely back-end.

What You Will Do

As Product Manager for the Catalog task force, you own it. That means Joko's universal product catalog end to end — its coverage, its structure, its freshness, and the pipelines that feed it. You will report to Yosr, who leads the Juno tribe, and work at the intersection of product, data, and operations with a Product Designer, software engineers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Coverage & integration strategy: You will decide which merchants and which products go into the catalog, and in what order. Those are your calls to make and defend.
  • Data architecture & normalization: Product data arrives from many partners and affiliate feeds, in formats that agree on almost nothing. You will define, with engineers, how heterogeneous inputs become uniform, comparable product records.
  • Freshness & reliability: A price can move within the hour. You will own the strategy that keeps catalog data current at scale, and the monitoring that tells us when the ingestion pipeline is failing before our users notice.
  • Catalog operations & automation: A lot of catalog work is plumbing today. You will find it, own it, and automate it, so that coverage scales faster than headcount.
  • Internationalization: Joko is expanding beyond France. You will design the architecture so the catalog grows into a genuinely multi-market one.
  • Stakeholder alignment: Every business line needs something different from the catalog. You will structure that demand, arbitrate, and go talk to merchants directly to get their products in.
  • Metrics: You will define what a good catalog looks like in numbers — coverage, uniformity, freshness, quality — and drive the roadmap against it.
Who We're Looking For
  • Experience: You have at least 3 years of experience in product management, or in project management with genuine end-to-end ownership. What counts is depth: you have owned a project or a stream over the long run, defined it, iterated on it, and made the calls yourself.
  • Data fluency: You are strongly data-oriented. The product here is data, so this is the criterion that carries the most weight. A former data analyst who moved towards operations and product could be an excellent fit.
  • Back-end & architecture appetite: You are drawn to technical and data architecture, ingestion pipelines, and systems at scale, and you enjoy going deep with engineers on how they are built. Candidates who are driven by UI and UX craft will find this scope frustrating.
  • Operational mindset: You are comfortable with plumbing, edge cases, and unglamorous work, and your instinct is to automate it.
  • Stakeholder leadership: You navigate many internal stakeholders and external partners, structure their demands, arbitrate, and make trade-offs explicit. You are comfortable saying no.
  • Analytical & pragmatic: You are impact-oriented and you go straight for the real problem in front of you.
  • Location: Based in France or Spain.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is a plus, but it is optional.
  • Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges, you welcome feedback and you love constantly learning and getting better.
