Tecnicas Reunidas is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Coordinator for Reimbursable Projects (FEL, FEED, FEED OBE) and EPC – LSTK small-scale projects in Madrid. You will review contracts, lead procurement execution, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.

Qualified candidates have 5–10 years in industrial project procurement, a degree in Industrial Engineering, and strong leadership and English skills.

Formación

• Over 5 to 10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a relevant role within industrial project environments as a Project Procurement Specialist/Coordinator.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough review of project contracts to identify procurement-impacting clauses.
• Serve as focal point for procurement matters with Client and Project Management.
• Develop and implement the Project Procurement Execution Plan aligned with contractual obligations.
• Oversee procurement activities to ensure schedule milestones are met.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Controls to align procurement with project needs.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual terms and requirements.
• Participate in commercial evaluations and negotiations for procurement.
• Promote sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
• Prepare and consolidate procurement reports for stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned programs.

Procurement Specialist / Coordinator – Reimbursable Projects (FEL, FEED, FEED OBE) and EPC – LSTK Small-scale projects

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough review of project contract to identify clauses and requirements impacting procurement activities.
• Serve as the focal point for procurement-related matters with the Client and Project Management.
• Develop and implement the Project Procurement Execution Plan in alignment with contractual obligations and project objectives.
• Oversee procurement activities to ensure compliance with the project schedule and milestones.
• Facilitate regular meetings with the procurement team Head of Project Procurement Servies to identify key issues or risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure timely follow-up if any.
• Collaborate with other disciplines such as Engineering and Project Controls to ensure alignment and integration of procurement activities and in accordance of project needs.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and project requirements.
• Actively participate in commercial evaluations and negotiations of procurement-related matters.
• Promote and implement sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
• Prepare, update, and consolidate procurement execution reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement through the Lessons Learned program to enhance future project execution.
• Contribute to the identification and development of procurement opportunities and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• Over 5 to 10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a relevant role within industrial project environments as a Project Procurement Specialist/Coordinator, with knowledge about purchasing, expediting and logistics activities of the projects.
• It is advisable to hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, along with excellent communication and analytical skills, are essential.
• Languages: A fluent level of English is mandatory.
