A leading food production company in Alcantarilla, Spain, is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to drive operational excellence. This role involves resolving process deviations, training teams in Lean methodologies, and optimizing manufacturing performance. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and have over 3 years of experience, preferably in the Food Industry. The position promotes a hybrid working model and offers an environment focused on continuous improvement.

Formación

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing, ideally in the Food Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies, with Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Certification.
  • Fluent in Spanish and at least a B2 level in English.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide technical support to resolve process deviations and improve reliability.
  • Promote a proactive mindset and drive engagement in continuous improvement.
  • Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing projects across production lines.
  • Train and support operators in Lean tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Technical Services to maximize plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Define, monitor, and report KPIs.

What you'll achieve

As a key driver of operational excellence, you will report to the Business Unit Manager and act as a strategic partner for the plant. You will be empowered to :

  • Secure Reliability : Provide technical support to resolve process deviations and improve reliability . You ensure that technical hiccups don't stand in the way of our performance, addressing issues at the source.
  • Drive Engagement : Promote a proactive mindset and drive engagement in continuous improvement at all levels of the organization . From the shop floor to management, you will be the catalyst that inspires everyone to ask, "How can we do this better?"
  • Champion Continuous Improvement : Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing projects across production lines. You won't just follow standards; you'll set new ones ( Create Wow ).
  • Empower the Team : Train and support operators in Lean tools and best practices. You believe that Everyone Hero means sharing knowledge to elevate the whole team.
  • Optimize Performance : Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Technical Services to maximize plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Drive Results : Define, monitor, and report KPIs. Your work will directly improve productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency ( Take Responsibility ).
Who you are

We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who loves the factory floor.

  • An Engineer : You have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
  • Experienced : You bring 3+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing (ideally in the Food Industry).
  • A Lean Practitioner : You have strong knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies (Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Certification).
  • A Leader & Coach : You have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and train others. You build trust easily.
  • Analytical : You have a mindset oriented towards problem-solving and data-driven decisions.
  • Language Skills : Fluent in Spanish and at least a B2 level in English.
