Job summary

Cytel is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer to be fully embedded with a global pharmaceutical client. You will develop SDTM/ADaM datasets, define.xml and reviewer’s guides, and build SAS and R programs for complex listings and figures, working with CRO programmers to ensure consistency and quality.

The role requires independent execution, excellent communication and leadership, and experience with regulatory submissions under FDA/ICH guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or statistics.
• 7+ years of experience as a Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills and clinical development experience.
• Extensive knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM/ADaM/Define.xml).
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and interacting with regulatory authorities.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specifications, datasets, and define.xml for studies.
• Develop SAS programs for datasets, listings, tables, and graphs.
• Deliver high-quality statistical programming outputs and validate programs.
• Oversee CRO programmers to meet timelines across studies.
• Support preparation of study reports, regulatory submissions, publications.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to ensure project goals.
• Contribute to SOPs and programming standards.
