Job summary

Cytel is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer SAS + R for remote work, embedded with a pharmaceutical sponsor. You will lead statistical programming activities across studies, ensuring SDTM/ADaM delivery and regulatory submissions.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong SAS skills, CDISC expertise, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Collaboration with CROs and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or statistics preferred.
• 7+ years of experience as a statistical programmer in biotech/pharma clinical development biometrics.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills and experience with SDTM/ADaM definitions, Define.xml, datasets, tables and graphs.
• Extensive experience with CDISC standards and regulatory submissions.
• Strong communication, leadership, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM and ADaM specifications and datasets for multiple studies.
• Develop SAS programs to produce datasets, listings, tables and graphs.
• Deliver high-quality statistical programming results and validate software.
• Oversee CRO programmers to ensure timelines and quality.
• Support regulatory submissions and study reports.
