Job summary

Cytel is looking for a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer (Remote) to work with a sponsor client on clinical development programs. You will develop SAS and R code, create SDTM/ADaM outputs, and oversee CRO programming to ensure high-quality data delivery.

You will contribute to regulatory submissions, study reports and editorial data packages while adhering to FDA/ICH guidelines, CDISC standards, and internal SOPs; strong leadership and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or statistics.
• 7+ years as a Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma clinical development biometrics.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills and experience with CDISC standards.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and interacting with regulatory authorities.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specs, datasets, reviewer’s guides and define.xml for multiple studies.
• Develop SAS programs to produce datasets, listings, tables and graphs.
• Deliver high‑quality programming results and validate SAS/R programs.
• Oversee CRO deliverables and ensure timelines are met.
• Support clinical study reports, regulatory submissions and exploratory analyses.
• Contribute to standards for programming tools, outputs and macros.
• Collaborate with CROs, vendors and partners to meet project goals.
• Create data transfer specifications and assist with SOPs for programming.
