SGS, a world leader in testing, inspection and certification, seeks a Principal Engineer with a Full Stack & Platform mandate in Madrid. You will architect and ship flagship surfaces end-to-end, spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure, while shaping the platform with CI/CD, IaC, and observability.

You will mentor senior engineers and collaborate with Product to craft user‑loving interfaces. The role demands 10+ years of experience, deep cloud knowledge (GCP/AWS), and strong design skills

Formación

• 10+ years in product engineering and platform/SRE work.
• Experience building distributed cloud-native systems.
• Partner with Product and Design to ship user-friendly interfaces.
• Strong front-end and back-end architecture experience.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and ship the most critical product surfaces.
• Own the full stack across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Shape the platform (CI/CD, Kubernetes, IaC, observability).
• Generalize patterns into reusable components and services.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive architecture discussions.
