Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join its Civil and Structural Team in Spain, with opportunities in Madrid or Seville. The role involves design on power-related projects, leadership, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
You will oversee complex structural design, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to FEED, cost estimation, and tender preparation while advancing project delivery in energy sectors.
Formación
- Deep understanding of structural engineering principles including load-bearing capacity and material properties.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (SAP2000/ETABS) for modelling complex structures.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its application to projects.
Responsabilidades
- Lead and manage structural engineering design for power plants, HV substations, and HV cables.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates for projects.
- Lead FEED activities related to structural components.
