Universidad Politécnica de Madrid invites applications for a First Stage Researcher (R1) in Mathematics to work on applied mathematical topics connected with models inspired by biology and epidemiology. The position is a permanent, full-time role in Madrid with 37.5 hours per week.

The successful candidate will complement theoretical analysis with numerical simulations and modeling, contribute to publications in top journals, and collaborate with the HRS4R research teams.

Formación

• Master degree or equivalent in mathematics or related field.
• Publications in internationally renowned journals in mathematical analysis or applied mathematics.
• Experience with modeling biological/epidemiological problems and numerical simulations.
