Requirements related to the candidate’s academic and/or scientific-technical track record.
Requirements concerning the candidate’s suitability for the research activities to be carried out, based on their previous education and experience (the added value of the position for their research career, and the potential value to the host research team).
Positive action: a correction index of 1.5 is established for each year of experience in the evaluation of the number of years in those criteria where experience is evaluated, in the event that the disable person greater than 66% and 1.2 in the event that the disable person greater than 30%.

RECRUITMENT PLAN:
The RESOLUTION OF THE SECRETARIAT OF STATE FOR PUBLIC FUNCTION APPROVING THE COMMON ACTION CRITERIA FOR THE RECRUITMENT PROCESSES IN THESTATE PUBLIC SECTOR ENTITIES of April 11, 2022, set forth in point 6.1 that "Unless a specific regulation establishes a merit-bases recruitment system (concurso), the competition (concurso-oposition) must be the recruitment system"
In CNIC, the specific regulations approved by the Foundation's board of trustees establish a merit-base recruitment system (concurso) including a personal interview.
At least the 6 candidates with the highest score, as long as they reach the minimum of 65 points as a sum of criteria (C1-C5) will be interviewed. The two candidates with the highest score will be hired given the total score (C1-C6) is higher than 80 points.

SCORING CRITERIA:
Requirements related to the candidate’s academic and/or scientific-technical track record.
C1. Scientific and technical contributions. The candidate’s academic record will be assessed (30%), along with other curricular merits such as awards and distinctions (5%), as well as the relevance and duration of experience within the candidate’s area of specialization. Candidates must submit an official academic transcript as part of their application. 45%
C2. Mobility and internationalization. The assessment will consider the relevance and impact of the candidate’s research stays at national and international institutions and/or within the industrial sector. Particular attention will be paid to the prestige of the host institution and the activities carried out during the stay. (Such experience must be clearly documented in the candidate’s CV and will be evaluated in the context of the candidate’s overall experience, taking into account the relationship between the duration of the stay and the area of specialization). 5%
Requirements concerning the candidate’s suitability for the research activities to be carried out, based on their previous education and experience (the added value of the position for their research career, and the potential value to the host research team).
C3. Research experience in Life Sciences, Biomedicine, or Medicine (to be evidenced in the CV and evaluated comprehensively, considering the relevance and duration of experience within the candidate’s area of specialization). 10%

Contributions to scientific publications, conference communications and patents in the fields of Life Sciences, Biomedicine, or Medicine (to be evidenced in the CV and evaluated comprehensively, considering their relevance to the research area of the advertised positions and their scientific impact). 10%
C5. Demonstrable proficiency in English, certified by an official qualification at B2 level or higher (this criterion will be assessed on the basis of the official certification provided). 10%
