Job summary

The CNIC is offering a Predoctoral Researcher position in the Molecular and Genetic Cardiovascular Pathophysiology laboratory, led by Dr. Vicente Andrés.

The selected candidate will join a leading laboratory in atherosclerosis and aging related cardiovascular disease. The successful candidate will carry out research tasks within the funded project, including designing experiments, presenting findings at seminars and preparing articles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (300 ECTS) or higher in life sciences.
• Admitted to a PhD programme at the time the contract starts.
• Not having exhausted the four-year predoctoral contract period.
• Not already hold a PhD.
• Strong English (B2+) certification.
• Certification to work with experimental models (A, B and C).

Responsibilities

• Designing and conducting experiments.
• Presenting findings orally at seminars and scientific conferences.
• Preparing articles and contributing to progress reports.
