Job summary

Universidad de Salamanca invites applications for a First Stage Researcher (R1) in Literature focused on the development and critical analysis of generative AI systems, especially large language models, as part of the project THE 21ST-CENTURY SCRIPTORIUM. Qualifications

• Master Degree or equivalent
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degrees: Bachelor’s Degree in Hispanic Philology (or Spanish Studies), with a Master’s Degree in Spanish and Hispanic American Literature.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical aspects of the project related to generative AI systems and LLMs.
• Collaborate in data collection and analysis for quantitative aspects using Digital Humanities methods.
• Work on integration and application of vector database systems.
• Contribute to critical analysis of generative AI in Hispanic literature.
