Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) seeks a candidate for a pre-doctoral contract in applied mathematics. The role focuses on mathematical and optimisation models for deep learning in image and video processing, with emphasis on PhD admission requirements and potential teaching duties in Catalan and/or Spanish.

Formación

• Master's degree in Mathematics required by the contract start date.
• Pre-admission or admission to the PhD in Information and Communications Technology programme at the UIB.
• Enrolment or admission document for the 2026-27 academic year must be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to research on Mathematical and Optimisation Models applied to deep learning for image and video processing.
• Assist in teaching duties in Catalan and/or Spanish as part of the contract.
• Support the academic and research activities under the PhD programme at UI B.
