Q-Tech in Madrid is building a sovereign cloud platform and seeks a Platform Engineer to own the Key Management Service (KMS) and encryption workflows within the Go/Kubernetes stack. You will design and implement envelope encryption, Kubernetes Operators, and secure APIs to manage keys, signatures, and audit-ready controls, operating under a 'you build it, you run it' model.

Formación

Real experience building software in Go with Kubernetes as a core part of daily work, not just deployment.
Solid knowledge of applied cryptography: symmetric and asymmetric encryption, key management, digital signatures.
Ideal background in cybersecurity, cloud, or platform teams that work with these concepts daily.
You care about security as a core principle, not a checkbox.
High level of English; team works with international counterparts.

Responsabilidades

Build the Key Management Service (KMS): central system for generating, rotating, and protecting encryption keys.
Implement Envelope Encryption flows, managing data keys and master keys.
Develop Kubernetes Operators to automate lifecycle with no manual intervention.
Create APIs for internal teams to request keys, sign documents, or verify signatures.
Ensure the product meets industry security standards (AES, RSA, ECDSA, HMAC) and audit requirements.
