Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Planner / Scheduler to lead advanced planning, scheduling, and progress measurement on one or more major projects. You will implement scheduling strategies, coordinate WBS/CBS definitions, and produce regular progress reports with a focus on critical path and risk analysis.

The role requires expert use of scheduling tools, strong coordination across inputs, and excellent communication skills.

Formación

• Expertise in project controls and time/schedule management, preferably in Data Centres, Life Sciences / Pharma or related sectors.
• Expert experience level using project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 preferred).
• Ability to coordinate multiple sources of schedule inputs into a master schedule and deliver status reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Implement Project Planning/Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures.
• Coordinate development of WBS and CBS with Project Lead and contractor leads.
• Prepare staffing, engineering, construction progress and customized reports.
• Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules.
• Conduct schedule analysis including critical path and risk analysis.
• Analyze deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare reporting for Monthly Project Reports and presentations.
• Highlight schedule impact of variances and changes.
• Prepare resourcing plans for project phases.

Job Description

he Planner / Scheduler is responsible for advanced planning, scheduling, progress measurement, change management implementation and analysis that may involve a major project or several smaller projects. A thorough understanding is required of policies, methods, and procedures that includes advanced Planning and Scheduling techniques, Risk Analysis, Risk Management, and support of project objectives.

• Implement Project Planning/Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) in conjunction with Project Lead, Project Cost Engineer and Contractor project controls leads, and in conjunction with Project Execution Plans.
• Preparing Staffing, Engineering, Construction progress and customized reports.
• Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules and contractor schedules.
• Conduct the required project schedule analysis, critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis for the project as a whole.
• Analyze deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule highlighting bottlenecks / delays and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare the Integrated Planning / Scheduling contribution to the Monthly Project Report and specific reports / presentations.
• Analyze and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order.
• Prepare resourcing plans for the overall and individual project phases, identifying any excessive peak numbers and making recommendations for peak leveling.

Qualifications

Expertise in project controls and time/schedule management is required preferably within Data Centres, Life Sciences / Pharma or associated sectors.

• Expert experience level using project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 preferred)
• Ability to coordinate/organise multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions.
• Able to develop good working relationships with project team.
