Context And Mission
The BSC Quantic team aims to develop and apply advanced analytical and numerical methods to investigate quantum field theories and strongly correlated quantum many-body systems. In this project, particular emphasis will be placed on Hamiltonian formulations of lattice field theories, their quantum simulation, and the characterization of their complexity and quantum-information properties. The research will address fundamental questions related to continuum limits, phase structure, real-time dynamics, entanglement, non-Gaussianity, and ergodicity, while exploring alternative lattice formulations that may enable more efficient classical and quantum simulations.
