Dolby in Barcelona is seeking a Sound Experiences Lab Intern to work with our world-class research teams on spatial audio, AI, and signal processing.

You will design and train deep learning models, build datasets, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to patents and publications. This 3-month internship offers hybrid work with on-site presence at the Barcelona office.

Applicants should be enrolled in a postgraduate program in AI and audio, with strong Python and math skills.

Formación

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics.
• Enrolled in a PhD program related to audio processing and AI for the internship duration.
• Proven experience in audio signal processing.
• Hands-on AI experience applied to audio applications.
• Proficiency in Python-based deep learning frameworks.
• Strong mathematical foundation.
• Research experience with publications.
• Good communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and train advanced deep learning models for spatial audio processing.
• Prepare and curate high-quality datasets with data augmentation and synthetic data.
• Evaluate models against state-of-the-art benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Barcelona research team on related projects.
• Present research findings and contribute to patents and publications.
