Qualifications

• PhD in Forestry or Environmental Sciences with silviculture training.
• Experience in Mediterranean/temperate/boreal forest ecosystems.
• Ability to integrate landscape-scale data on forest structure and biodiversity.
• Experience publishing in high-impact international journals (Q1 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from forest sciences on disturbances, growth, regeneration, and biodiversity.
• Write scientific articles on these topics.
• Coordinate and conduct fieldwork sessions.
• Support grant applications for climate-change research at the University of Huelva.
• Help supervising students in Canada and Spain.
