The Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in Tenerife invites applications for one PhD fellowship in Astrophysics within the ASTRI Mini Array project. The PhD will be supervised and based at IAC La Laguna, leading to a PhD degree and joining the Particle Astrophysics group with MAGIC, LST, and CTAO collaborations.

During the two yearly renewable contracts (up to four years), the successful candidate will pursue research topics across Solar to cosmology and may benefit from the Postdoctoral

Formación

• To be considered, applicants must have a degree in Physics or Mathematics.
• The degree must satisfy the admission requirements of the University of La Laguna (ULL) PhD Programme in astrophysics.
• Applicants may prove eligibility by submitting a personal academic certification showing completion of required credits.
• In degrees issued outside of Spain, certified translation into Spanish or English is required.
• The degree score must be 7.0 or higher, and 7.5 for bachelor degrees + Master Degree.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out scientific work within the scope of the ASTRI Mini Array project.
• Join the Particle Astrophysics research group and contribute to high-energy gamma-ray studies.
• Pursue the PhD degree and complete required milestones at IAC.
