CHRISTUS Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to fill the scrub role under supervision. You will assist in a variety of surgical procedures, ensure sterile processing, and support the surgical team to maintain efficient patient flow.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification, and preferably two years of operating room experience. The position emphasizes safety, policy compliance, and teamwork within the OR.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Two years experience as an operating room technician preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in surgical scrub role for minor and major procedures.
• Support physicians and nurses in procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality; follow hospital policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist in instrument processing, sterilization, and room turnover.
• Maintain readiness of supplies and equipment for upcoming cases.

Conocimientos
