Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Definition of project targets in agreement with the restraint system team
  • Validation and active participation in the design of different areas and parts of the vehicle
  • Coordination of activities with the different project teams and the supplier to ensure the correct development of the functions of the Airbag control unit
  • Validation of the sensors and their position in the car
  • Analyze FEM simulations
  • Definition of crash tests requirements
  • Supervision of crash test sensing activities, ensuring compliance and development according to regulation and internal protocols
  • Analysis of test results and correlation with FEM models
  • Airbag Control Unit algorithm calibration
  • Airbag Control Unit algorithm validation
  • Validation of the central airbag functions
Qualifications

Profile:

  • Experience in crash testing environment and crash signals interpretation will be valued.
  • Good communication skills and strong relationship building skills.
  • Empathic, proactive, with team spirit and high level of assertiveness.
  • Confident in discussions at different hierarchical levels.
  • Flexible, resourceful and able to multi-task while establishing priorities and providing solutions.
  • Committed, goal driven, with successful result orientation and strong service orientation.
  • Open to work in a very international company with a multicultural team.
  • Knowledge about simulation tools and capacity to understand their outcome.

Education:

  • Engineering degree (desirable Mechanical, Telecommunications or Electronics).


Languages:

  • A medium to high level of English is mandatory.
  • A medium to high level of German is mandatory.
  • Any additional language will be positively valued.
