Finom, a European fintech, is hiring a People Product Associate to apply product thinking across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.

You will work closely with the People Product Manager, gather feedback, run surveys, and use what you learn to shape what gets built next, then build it yourself.

This role offers EU-wide remote or hybrid work, stock options, and a chance to impact how millions of entrepreneurs experience Finom's people programs.

About The Role

Finom builds HR the way we build products - with roadmaps, customers, and measurable outcomes instead of ad hoc admin. We're looking for a People Product Associate to help us apply that thinking across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.

This role has two sides that need to live in the same person: someone who can sit with the data, the workflows, and the automation in the background - and someone who can step back and ask "what does this actually feel like for the employee going through it?" You'll gather feedback, run surveys, and use what you learn to shape what gets built next, then go build it yourself.

You’ll work closely with the People Product Manager, owning execution on the tools and processes that make our HR experience feel designed rather than accidental.

What You'll Be Doing

• Employee lifecycle products - Build and improve the tools and processes behind every stage of the employee journey: onboarding, performance cycles, internal mobility, promotions, engagement surveys, offboarding etc.
• Employee experience & feedback - Design and run surveys, gather qualitative feedback from employees and managers, and turn what you hear into concrete product improvements.
• Automation & workflow design - Build internal automations (Google Apps Script, n8n) that connect Slack, Notion, and our HR systems, reducing manual work for HR and managers alike.
• AI-assisted building - Use AI tools (Claude and similar) to prototype and ship people products faster - from building a working tool from a rough idea to automating a process end to end.
• Workflow ownership - Work hands-on, keeping data, workflows, and configuration clean and reliable as our processes evolve.
• Documentation - Keep our Notion space current and genuinely useful for managers and our HR team to self-serve from.

What We're Looking For

• A product mindset: curious about why a process exists and what it should feel like for the person on the other end of it, not just how to execute it
• Ability to interpret data: comfortable turning data and feedback into insights, identifying patterns, and using them to inform decisions and improve processes
• Experience building live products from scratch: hands-on experience taking an idea from concept to a working product, including using AI-assisted development tools to build, test, iterate, and launch
• Comfortable with Google Apps Script and n8n - you've built and maintained real automations, not just used pre-built ones
• Comfortable with AI tools like Claude, and genuinely hungry to keep learning new ones - you see AI as a way to build faster, not a novelty
• Customer centricity mindset: naturally starts from the needs and experience of the end user, actively seeks to understand pain points, and designs solutions that are simple, intuitive, and genuinely useful
• Employee feedback experience: experience designing and running employee feedback loops, including surveys, pulse checks, structured feedback collection, and translating feedback into concrete improvements
