Vistra in Barcelona seeks a payroll assistant to manage a client portfolio and perform general payroll tasks. The role supports the Corporates Department with regional coverage from Barcelona.

You will handle the full payroll cycle, tax withholdings, and social security filings while maintaining high accuracy and compliance. English and Spanish proficiency are required, with a strong eye for detail and a collaborative mindset.

Purpose of Role

Manages the assigned client portfolio and is responsible for performing general payroll tasks for a set of clients. The role is based in Barcelona and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Corporates Department and its growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of clients acting as main point of contact for the clients assigned, escalating when necessary.
• Manages, works, and controls the full payroll cycle, making the appropriate checks.
• Prepares and takes care of the presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual withholding income tax (Forms 111/216/190/296/345). Responsible for the preparation and filing of social security forms (RNT /RLC/CRA).
• Manages, prepares and controls Companies’ payroll registration process.
• Works in close collaboration with other departments for any items that may have cross impact.
• Follows the company quality standards and processes.
