A global workforce solutions provider is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their EMEA Payroll and Billing Team in Madrid, Spain. The role involves managing payments for independent contractors, handling payroll-related reconciliation, and providing support on payroll and billing matters. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in payroll/HR, be fluent in English, and possess knowledge of payroll regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft D365 and other payroll software is necessary. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Formación

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in payroll / HR, billing administration or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements.

Responsabilidades

  • Request payments for independent contractors accurately and on time.
  • Manage salary updates in Microsoft D365.
  • Validate independent contractor invoices, including hours and rates.
  • Handle payroll-related invoice reconciliation issues such as tax, insurance, leave, and pension.
  • Provide excellent support to internal and external customers on payroll, billing, and wage matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date systems and ensure compliance with payroll and invoicing laws and client contract terms.
  • Audit and reconcile reverse People 2.0 invoices with VMS.

Conocimientos

Fluency in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Certification in Payroll Administration
Knowledge of payroll regulations
Spanish payroll experience

What Will You Be Doing as a Payroll Specialist?
  • Request payments for independent contractors accurately and on time.
  • Manage salary updates in Microsoft D365.
  • Validate independent contractor invoices, including hours and rates.
  • Handle payroll-related invoice reconciliation issues such as tax, insurance, leave, and pension.
  • Provide excellent support to internal and external customers on payroll, billing, and wage matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date systems and ensure compliance with payroll and invoicing laws and client contract terms.
  • Audit and reconcile reverse People 2.0 invoices with VMS and support month-end closing and other finance / admin tasks as needed.
Fluency in English

Spanish payroll experience

Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in payroll / HR, billing administration or related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements.

Certification in Payroll Administration

Proficiency in payroll software / systems
