British Council in Barcelona is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support senior and class teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning for young learners. You will help ensure their care and well-being, while also using English to facilitate communication.

The role suits early-career candidates eager to learn and grow. Typical hours include 1700-1800 and 13:45-14:45 in some slots; you may assist with off-site activities and different age groups.

Formación

• Learning technologies experience or training in an educational setting.
• Minimum B1 level of written English and speaking English.
• Practical experience and/or training in an educational setting.

Responsabilidades

• Support teachers in creating a safe, clean and engaging learning environment.
• Assist with planned activities and student learning, using English to encourage communication.
• Welcome students, relay information and support substitute teachers when necessary; provide occasional administrative support.
• For off-site teaching, help manage student drop-off and pick-up and support multiple groups.
