Allianz Technology is seeking a Database Developer to join the Sales Steering Tribe in the global IT organization. You will handle data model extensions, ETL adjustments, and interfaces for the FIV system used by thousands of sales and controlling staff.

You’ll work in an agile environment, use GitHub/Jenkins, and contribute to upgrades and data delivery. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to grow within Allianz.

Formación

• Degree in computer science / natural sciences / engineering or comparable training.
• Very good knowledge of PL/SQL (at least experienced level).
• Very good database knowledge of Oracle.
• Confident use of build pipeline tools (GitHub, Jenkins).
• Experience operating data warehouse systems.
• Very good English skills, level B1.
• Willingness to work early and late shifts.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Independent, team-oriented way of working.
• Strong communication skills and a high level of customer orientation.
• Strong sense of quality and responsibility.

Responsabilidades

• Processing Jira tickets for data model extensions, database-related programming, ETL process adjustments (tool: biGenius), versioning in GitHub, specifications for automation, module testing.
• Performing general system integration tests (providing test data, monitoring job chains).
• Creating new interfaces and maintaining existing ones.
• Supporting, contributing to, and testing upgrades and migrations of interfaces and their databases.
• Supporting/maintaining data delivery processes to downstream systems.
• Processing incidents and creating changes, e.g., for releases.
• Regular taking on early shifts and shift duties (early and late) at month-end.
