EDP seeks an Ops Market Support Senior Specialist in Madrid to lead MTM valuations and governance of energy contracts across PPAs, derivatives and related instruments.

You will work with Risk, Accounting, Origination, Asset Management and senior management to ensure data integrity and drive continuous improvement in back-office processes. Fluent English and Spanish/Portuguese are beneficial for this multicultural environment.

Qualificações

• University degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in contract management and valuation across energy markets.
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy handling large data volumes.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders at senior levels, internal and external.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and data management capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead MTM valuation of financial contracts, including PPAs and derivatives.
• Govern and monitor contractual obligations from PPAs and remuneration schemes.
• Coordinate derivatives testing and reporting for accounting/audit purposes.
• Lead setup of new projects, assets, markets and contracts across systems and stakeholders.
• Interface with Risk, Accounting, Origination, Asset Management and senior management.

With more than 12,000 employees around the world, we are committed to using our energy and heart to drive a better tomorrow.What you will do:stylemargin:bottom:0.0cm; Margin:top:0.0px::Lead the periodic Mark:to:Market (MTM) valuation of financial contracts, including financial PPAs, derivatives and other valuation activities required by GEM and EDPR.:Ensure the governance, control and follow:up of contractual obligations arising from PPAs, remuneration schemes and other energy:related contracts throughout their lifecycle.:Coordinate and support derivatives effectiveness testing and reporting activities required for accounting, audit and financial reporting purposes.:Lead the operational set:up of new projects, assets, markets and contracts, ensuring readiness across systems, processes and stakeholders.:Act as a key interface with internal and external stakeholders, including counterparties, Risk, Accounting, Finance, Origination, Asset Management, Construction and senior management.:Ensure the integrity, consistency and traceability of contractual, operational and valuation data used across GEM and EDPR platforms.:Drive continuous improvement, automation and standardisation initiatives across Contract Management and Valuation activities.:Support regulatory, transformation and cross:functional projects impacting Back Office operationsEmployment Type: Full:timeWhat we are looking for:stylemargin:bottom:0.0cm; Margin:top:0.0px::University degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field.:Proven experience in contract management, valuation, settlements, risk, energy markets or related Back Office activities.:Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large volumes of information with a high level of accuracy.:Experience interacting with multiple stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels, including external counterparties.:Advanced Microsoft package skills and strong data management capabilities.
