Medtronic is seeking an Operations Supervisor at the Alcalá de Henares distribution center, Madrid. You will lead logistics operations, supervise a team, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in Supply Chain or Logistics, strong SAP WMS experience, and proficiency in Power BI and MS Office. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, with a focus on teamwork and timely results.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar.
  • Experience in a similar management role is an asset.
  • Proven experience in SAP WMS, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP, Power BI.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure.
  • Analytical, proactive, adaptable and collaborative.

A Day in the Life

Join us as an Operations Supervisor and take the lead in driving excellence across our distribution operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement are essential. If you're passionate about operational efficiency and enjoy working with cross-functional teams, this role offers the chance to strengthen your leadership skills while contributing to the success of our company. Based at our Distribution Center in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, you will support logistics and Value-Added Services (VAS) activities while leading and developing your team to deliver strong operational results. This is a people management role with responsibility for supervising a team, prioritizing work, monitoring performance, and supporting talent development, engagement, and inclusion. You will also help ensure effective communication, planning, and day-to-day coordination to meet team objectives and operational goals.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Control the flow of finished goods, services, and information between point of origin through receipt at the logistic site, through to customer placement in order to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration, and related functions
  • Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives
  • Build relationships with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers through the resolution of delivery issues
  • Integrate market intelligence from operating entities, distribution, transportation, suppliers, and customers to continuously improve competitive position

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar operational role
  • Experience in a similar management role will be an asset
  • Proven experience in SAP WMS, logistics, and/or supply chain operations
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools such as Excel, SAP, and Power BI
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure, with a positive attitude
  • Analytical, proactive, adaptable, and capable of collaborating across teams and levels
