Freenow by Lyft in Spain is seeking an Operations Growth Manager focused on Demand to own local growth strategy and boost ride completions. You will advise the General Manager on demand topics and partner with Product, Pricing, Marketplace, Marketing and Local Operations to translate data into actionable plans.

The role requires 4–5 years in Operations/Consulting/Tech, a bachelor’s degree, fluency in English and Spanish, and a willingness to travel.

• 4–5 years of relevant work experience in Operations, Consulting or Tech, with a track record of end-to-end project delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Hands-on, execution-focused, results-oriented, able to operate in ambiguity and deliver impact.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills, translating data into actionable operational insights.
• Proficient in data tools including Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, and SQL (Python a plus).
• Growth mindset with ability to identify opportunities, test initiatives and prioritize high-impact projects.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, able to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Comfortable managing relationships with external stakeholders (airport authorities, venue operators) to optimize operations.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required for regular interaction with clients and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own the growth of Freenow by Lyft in Spain by delivering high-impact operational initiatives to increase completed rides.
• Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, define go-to-market approaches for the local market.
• Develop business cases, performance analyses, and executive recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Lead growth projects end-to-end from assessment to execution and optimization.
• Collaborate with Product, Pricing, Marketplace, Marketing and Local Operations to adapt global strategies locally.
• Roll out and test new products, coordinating stakeholders for adoption and measurable impact.
• Drive growth across key demand channels, including airports and high-value locations.
• Provide market intelligence and translate insights into actionable recommendations for strategy.
• Advise the General Manager with local market insights to influence long-term growth strategy.
• Travel around 20% of the time is expected.

Join our Local Operations team at the heart of Freenow by Lyft taxi business in Spain. As an Operations Growth Manager with focus on Demand, you will own the local growth strategy, identifying opportunities to boost demand and unlock sustainable business growth.

You will act as the General Manager's trusted advisor on all demand and growth topics, ensuring that local market insights influence company strategy while driving the successful execution of operational initiatives, product launches and marketplace experiments. Working closely with Product, Pricing, Marketplace, Marketing and Local Operations teams, you will transform data into action and opportunities into measurable business results.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring a combination of analytical thinking, operational excellence, and project management to shape the future growth of Freenow by Lyft in Spain.

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

• Owning the growth of Freenow by Lyft business in Spain by identifying, prioritizing and delivering high-impact operational initiatives that increase completed rides and accelerate marketplace performance.
• Identifying and evaluating new growth opportunities, including new product features, strategic partnerships, expansion initiatives and operational improvements, defining the optimal go-to-market approach for the local market.
• Developing business cases, performance analysis and executive recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
• Leading growth projects end-to-end, from opportunity assessment and planning to execution, performance monitoring and continuous optimization.
• Partnering with Central Product, Marketplace, Pricing and Marketing teams to adapt global strategies, product features and commercial initiatives to local market dynamics while influencing future roadmap decisions.
• Leading the local rollout and testing of new products and features, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution, adoption and measurable business impact.
• Driving growth across strategic demand channels, including airports and other high-value points of interest, by developing operational partnerships and improving the customer experience at key locations.
• Providing strategic market intelligence through continuous monitoring of competitor activity, customer behaviour and industry trends, translating insights into actionable recommendations that shape local and central business decisions.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to the General Manager by bringing a local market perspective, identifying emerging opportunities and influencing Freenow's long-term growth strategy.
• Travel will be required around 20% of the time, with some weeks not travelling and others with up to a full week or a few days away.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• You have 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Operations, Consulting or Tech, with a proven track record of managing and executing projects end-to-end.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or have an equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience.
• You are hands-on, highly execution-focused, and results-oriented, ready to dive into day-to-day operations, navigate ambiguity, and deliver measurable business impact.
• You possess strong analytical thinking and strategic skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable operational insights and business decisions.
• You are proficient in data tools, including advanced Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, and SQL (Python is a plus).
• You bring a growth mindset, using data and local market insights to identify operational opportunities, test initiatives, and prioritize high-impact projects.
• You demonstrate strong project and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align teams without direct authority.
• You are comfortable managing relationships with key external stakeholders (such as airport authorities or major venue operators) to optimize venue operations and drive location demand.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required due to regular interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
