Job summary

IE University in Madrid/Segovia invites applications for a full-time, open-rank faculty position in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Fluid Mechanics. The position may be tenure-track or tenured depending on qualifications and experience.

Our working language is English; Spanish language skills are not required. The successful candidate will teach across undergraduate and graduate programs and build an internationally recognized research program with competitive funding.

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field expected; strong research record preferred.
• New PhD graduates and doctoral candidates intending to complete PhD before start are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Thermal-Fluid Systems.
• Develop an internationally recognized research program and secure funding through national and international programs.
• Contribute to curriculum development and supervise student research.
