Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for IT infrastructure as and when tickets are raised.
  • Perform hardware installation, replacement, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
  • Handle cabling tasks including installation, termination, labeling, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and hardware issues.
  • Coordinate with remote support teams for diagnostics, guidance, and task execution.
  • Support data center operations such as patching, racking / stacking, and equipment configuration.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge of hardware, networking, cabling, and data center environments.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise technical and cabling tasks.
  • Flexibility to work in various environments and availability to respond to tickets on an as-needed basis.

Note: This is a freelance / on-demand position, ideal for engineers who can be available for ad-hoc assignments depending on ticket requirements for a certain number of hours per month depending on incoming tickets raised by client.
