Solvay is seeking a Civil Works Engineer to ensure integrity, reliability and continuous improvement of civil infrastructures at the plant in Spain. You will manage maintenance strategies for buildings, roads and utilities, and supervise contractors on site.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in civil engineering, construction or industrial projects, with PM/Construction Management training a plus and English at B2 level. Position is permanent and onsite.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of structural engineering, foundations, geotechnics and industrial buildings.
• Experience in construction management, planning, cost control and site supervision.
• Familiarity with environmental and safety standards on site.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Civil Works Department, ensuring compliance with site HSE standards and company policies.
• Define and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for buildings, roads, drainage systems, utility networks and civil infrastructures.
• Oversee the structural integrity and maintenance of industrial buildings, warehouses, offices, workshops and auxiliary facilities.
• Manage civil works associated with new industrial projects, including foundations, structures, roads, earthworks and underground networks.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors during construction, maintenance and refurbishment activities.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish building regulations, environmental requirements and industrial safety standards.
