Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Spain, is seeking an Onboard Safety-Critical Software Engineer to join the Aerial Delivery Domain. You will contribute to design, implementation, verification and certification of onboard safety-critical computers for Aerial Delivery and Health Monitoring functions.

Requirements include a degree in computer science or software engineering, proficiency in C/C++, and experience with DO-178B/C and RTOS.

Formación

• Degree in Computer/Software engineering or equivalent.
• English proficiency required.
• Demonstrated software development experience.
• Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages.
• Desirable: SW verification tools experience.
• Desirable: Real Time Operating Systems knowledge.
• Desirable: DO-178B/C software certification processes.
• Desirable: Worst-Case Execution Time analysis techniques.

Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for 1 Onboard Safety-Critical Software Engineer to join our Aerial Delivery Domain based in Getafe, Spain. The selected candidates will be part of a team developing integrated A/C embebed systems contributing to Aerial Delivery capability and Health Monitoring function. As part of the Aerial Delivery team, you will be involved in the design, implementation, validation, verification, certification and qualification for integrated A/C system that constitute Aerial Delivery and Health Monitoring Functions.

• To be involved in the Software Requirements Specification for the Onboard Safety Critical Computers.
• To be involved in the Software Architecture Specification for the Onboard Safety Critical Computers.
• To be involved in the Hardware/Software Integration Testing for the Onboard Safety Critical Computers.
• To be involved in the development of the Software DO-178 B/C for the Onboard Computers developed under the responsibility of the Aerial Delivery domain, and to be involved in its verification (testing, reviews and analysis).
• Develop considering the following factors: Safety, Quality, Systems Performance, Cost, Environmental, Operational and Industrial Requirements.

Skills

• Degree in Computer, Software Engineering or similar.
• Early carreer and mid term (up to 5 years) experience would be considered
• Advanced level in English.
• Demonstrated experience in Software Development
• Knowledge of programming languages as C/C++.
• Desirable experience in SW verification tools.
• Desirable knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems.
• Desirable experience in Software Certification Processes applying the RTCA DO-178B/C.
• Desirable Worst-Case Execution Time Analysis techniques.
