A recruitment agency is seeking an Offshore Wind Tower Assembly Inspector for a long-term project in Seville, Spain. The inspector will oversee fabrication and assembly activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Candidates should have proven experience in offshore wind tower fabrication, mechanical assembly, and QA/QC processes. Fluency in English is required; Spanish skills are a plus. This freelance position offers a 12-month contract with a start date in early 2026.

Formación

• Proven experience in offshore wind tower fabrication, inspection, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes, material inspection, and documentation control.
• Previous experience with GRI Towers or similar manufacturers is highly beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and verify fabrication and assembly of offshore wind turbine towers.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor mechanical assembly activities including flanges, ladders, platforms, and internals.
• Oversee electrical integration of cabling, earthing, and lighting systems within the towers.
• Review QA/QC documentation such as welding and coating reports.
• Identify and report any non-conformities, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide daily and weekly progress and inspection reports.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to HSE policies.

We ARE looking for an Offshore Wind Tower Assembly Inspector to support one of our clients on a long-term project in Seville, Spain.

The successful candidate will oversee tower fabrication and assembly activities, ensuring all work is executed in line with project specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a major offshore wind project within one of Europe’s key manufacturing hubs.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify fabrication and assembly of offshore wind turbine towers.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor mechanical assembly activities including flanges, ladders, platforms, and internals.
• Oversee electrical integration of cabling, earthing, and lighting systems within the towers.
• Review QA/QC documentation such as welding and coating reports, material certificates, and inspection records.
• Identify and report any non-conformities, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide daily and weekly progress and inspection reports.

Requirements/Your profile:

• Proven experience in offshore wind tower fabrication, inspection, or manufacturing.
• Background in mechanical assembly and basic electrical systems.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes, material inspection, and documentation control.
• Previous experience with GRI Towers or similar tower manufacturers is highly beneficial.
• Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Must be based in Spain or have the right to work locally.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day (including travel and reporting)
