Responsibilities

• Operate vessel pedestal crane within rated load capacity per derating tables.
• Perform safe basket transfers as allowed.
• Maintain required certifications and training status.
• Monitor surroundings to prevent clashes with vessel equipment.
• Record crane inspections and maintenance in logs.
• Liaise with Deck Foreman and engineers to define lifting procedures.
• Stop lifts if safety or technical concerns arise.
