A global manufacturer in specialty minerals is seeking a Network & Cybersecurity Engineer in Manresa. In this role, you will conduct cybersecurity assessments, integrate new technologies, and collaborate across production and security environments. Candidates should have a relevant degree and hands-on experience with security products and networking equipment. This position requires teamwork under pressure and may involve weekend work.

Formación

  • Hands-on experience with security products (FW, AV, IDS, SIEM)
  • Hands-on experience with networking equipment
  • Familiarity with SOC, especially OT SOC
  • Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems is advantageous

In MCR International we are collaborating with a global manufacturer of specialty minerals and chemical products to hire a Network & Cybersecurity Engineer to collaborate on cybersecurity across production and security environments in the plants. They also promote new technologies and enhance security levels in plants both in Israel and abroad.

Job Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary

The Cyber and Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for conducting surveys, evaluating and implementing regulatory requirements, initiating projects, and developing work plans aligned with required controls. The role involves introducing new technologies in networking and cybersecurity, as well as enhancing security levels in production and security networks within the plants.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • Preferred: Degree in Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Cybersecurity and networking courses such as:
    • Organizational Information Security Officer
    • CCNA, CCNP (strong advantage)
    • Cyber regulation courses
Previous Experience
  • Hands-on experience with security products (FW, AV, IDS, SIEM)
  • Hands-on experience with networking equipment
  • Familiarity with SOC (advantage), especially OT SOC (advantage)
  • Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems (significant advantage)
