Allseas is seeking an NDT Technician to support pipeline integrity assessments aboard a pipelay vessel. You will perform calibration, maintenance of AUT Dolphin Scanner, and manual NDT as required, ensuring quality control and safe operation in a hands-on environment.

Requirements include ISO 9712 Level 2 in UT/PT/MT, A2 English, and optional ToFD/PA/Visual. The role offers a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture and opportunities to contribute to project validations and equipment readiness.

Formación

• ISO 9712 Level 2 in UT, PT and MT is required.
• A2 level in English, verbally and in writing.
• ToFD, PA and Visual are optional.
• Capable of performing effectively in a hands-on environment.
• Skilled in repair and maintenance of AUT scanner equipment.

Responsabilidades

• AUT Dolphin Scanner assembly and system maintenance.
• Check equipment returned from completed projects.
• AUT Dolphin Scanner and system build for upcoming project validations and qualifications.
• Handle the packing, unpacking, and manifesting of NDT and AUT equipment as instructed by NDT Supervisor.
• Calibration block material selection and quality control checks.
• Calibrate and certify Manual NDT equipment.
• Performed manual NDT when required.
• Assist NDT warehouse and stock check spare parts.

The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team onboard a pipelay vessel specialises in assessing the integrity and quality of pipeline welds and materials without causing damage. Utilising advanced techniques such as ultrasonic testing, radiography, magnetic particle inspection, and dye penetrant inspection, the NDT team detects and evaluates defects or irregularities in the pipeline.

Some Of Your Daily Tasks Include

• AUT Dolphin Scanner assembly and system maintenance;
• Check equipment returned from completed projects;
• AUT Dolphin Scanner and system build for upcoming project validations and qualifications;
• Handle the packing, unpacking, and manifesting of NDT and AUT equipment as instructed by NDT Supervisor;
