Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an NDT intern at our HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, to support development of Non-Destructive Testing techniques using ultrasonic methods, 25 hours per week, for a 6-month period starting in September.

You will report to the NDT Technology Manager and be located on site, with eligibility for course credit. The role requires English fluency, CAD experience, and programming/data analysis skills (Python/MATLAB).

Qualifications

Enrolled in a Bachelor or master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry or related.
Knowledge of, or experience with, CAD and technical drawing software (AutoCAD or similar).
Fluent in English.
Experience with programming and data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, or similar).
Interest in research, innovation, and technological development.

Responsibilities

Development and optimization of inspection techniques using Non-Destructive Testing methods.
Support in the preparation of procedures, technical reports, and technical justifications.
Participation in R&D projects focused on the development of new inspection techniques and capabilities.
Preparation and execution of experimental testing activities.
Preparation and management of technical documentation associated with the department's activities.
