Tareas

We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable English-Speaking Hiking Guides to lead guided day hikes for international groups in Spain’s most stunning regions. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to share the beauty and culture of your favorite landscapes.

📍 Primary Locations (Immediate Openings):

We are actively recruiting guides for year-round work in the following regional hubs:

• Alicante
• Málaga
• Barcelona
• Mallorca

📝 Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead English-speaking groups on pre-planned day hiking routes.
• Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, adhering to best guiding practices.
• Provide insightful commentary on the local ecology, history, and culture of the area.
• Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service throughout the tour.

🔑 Essential Requirements:

• Fluent English (required to communicate clearly with our international clientele).
• In-depth, proven knowledge of the trails, logistics, safety protocols, and natural features of the specific region(s) you wish to guide in.
• Excellent group management and communication skills.
• Relevant guiding certifications are a significant advantage.

🌟 Bonus Expertise (Expand Your Season!):

Do you have experience in major mountain ranges? Knowledge of the following areas will qualify you for exciting, multi-day tours during the summer season, offering extended work opportunities:

• The Spanish Pyrenees (e.g., Ordesa, Aigüestortes, etc.)

Requisitos

To ensure the highest standards of safety and client experience, all applicants must meet the following mandatory criteria: You must possess a recognized Mountain Guide Certification (or equivalent professional qualification) to demonstrate competence in trail safety and group management. A valid Category B Driver's License is essential for managing transport logistics to and from trailheads. Finally, because our tours cater exclusively to international clients, high-level proficiency in English is non-negotiable. Strong conversational skills and clear instruction delivery are required to ensure the enjoyment and understanding of all group members.
