Job summary

Socialpoint in Barcelona is seeking a Mobile Engineer Intern to join our Game Development team. You'll work with senior developers on internal tools and contribute to the efficiency of our game production pipeline. This is hands‑on engineering work with real ownership from day one.

You will develop and improve internal libraries, implement tasks end to end, and profile on iOS and Android devices, collaborating across teams and taking part in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Strong C# programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OO design).
• Proficiency in Unity3D demonstrated by at least one project (published or readable repo).
• Working knowledge of vectors, matrices, quaternions and 2D/3D graphics concepts.
• Effective debugging to identify root causes, not patching symptoms.
• Disciplined coding habits and strong communication within teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve internal libraries with other teams.
• Implement scoped tasks end to end from problem to tested solution.
• Write short technical design documents before implementing.
• Profile, debug and optimize on iOS and Android devices.
• Work on third‑party integrations and platform‑specific features.
• Improve technical documentation and training resources.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate progress and blockers.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
