Jobgether's partner in Spain is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer — AI Architecture Research to explore and develop next-generation neural network architectures beyond Transformers. You will work at the intersection of ML research, model engineering, and real-world deployment, challenging architectural assumptions and enabling scalable production systems.

You will design experiments, prototype models end-to-end, and evaluate trade-offs in memory, latency, and compute.

Formación

• Strong foundation in ML and DL fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience implementing neural network architectures from scratch.
• Strong understanding of attention mechanisms, RNNs, state-space models or related approaches.
• Knowledge of training dynamics, optimization, scaling behavior, and architecture-level performance considerations.
• Understanding of memory, latency, compute, and efficiency constraints.

Responsabilidades

• Research and develop novel neural network architectures, including alternatives to Transformers and long-context systems.
• Design and execute architecture-level experiments focused on scaling laws, memory mechanisms, and compute-performance trade-offs.
• Prototype models end-to-end, translating research concepts into training-ready implementations.
• Analyze model behavior, inductive biases, and architectural strengths and limitations.
• Collaborate with inference and systems engineering teams to ensure efficient deployment.
• Read, reproduce, evaluate, and extend cutting-edge ML research papers.
• Contribute to internal notes, benchmarks, and open-source initiatives.
• Move between theoretical investigation, rapid experimentation, and production-oriented engineering.
