Job summary

Sateliot, based in Barcelona, seeks a Mission and Systems Engineer to design and support the mission lifecycle from ConOps to LEOP commissioning. You will bridge spacecraft design, flight software, AIT and ground segments, delivering validated procedures and end-to-end tests.

You will define configurations, trigger sequences and readiness criteria, coordinating tests and rehearsals to ensure operational readiness for handover to Operations. English proficiency mandatory; on-site in Barcelona.

Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, telecommunications or physics.
• 4+ years in spacecraft systems and mission-operations engineering.
• Experience supporting LEOP or commissioning campaigns.
• Experience developing and validating FOPs, flight rules, TM/TC databases.
• Strong system-level understanding of spacecraft subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate operational concept based on inter-satellite links and onboard autonomy.
• Own operations handbook, flight rules and mission database requirements.
• Define spacecraft configuration, command sequences and readiness criteria.
• Coordinate end-to-end tests and rehearsal to evidence operational readiness.
• Elaborate LEOP and commissioning plans and support handover to routine operations.
