Job summary

NineTwoThree AI Studio in Spain is seeking a middle UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, user-centered experiences for AI-driven platforms, mobile apps, and web applications. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to balance user needs with business goals.

You will design across industries, contribute to wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes, and help evolve our design system.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a UI/UX Designer with a portfolio showing user flows, usability and visual design for established brands.
• Experience designing for AI-driven applications.
• Proficiency with Figma and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design from concept to implementation for individual clients and NineTwoThree projects following industry best practices and company procedures.
• Deliver well-structured Figma boards with components, symbols and brand styles that remain consistent throughout the design process and have a single source of truth for all elements that update entire systems.
• Develop wireframes, interactions, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma.
• Create prototypes when delivering design ideas to illustrate different design solutions and test hypotheses.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into user-friendly designs.
• Prepare high-quality, developer-ready designs covering most edge cases and ensure smooth handoff to engineering teams, providing specs, assets, and documentation as needed.
• Explore ways to optimize the design process, including using AI tools, and share findings with the team.
• Present and explain design ideas to teammates and clients, grounding your rationale in user needs, business goals, and established design principles
• Participate Actively in multiple projects simultaneously
• Stay updated with UI/UX standards and guidelines to ensure our applications are intuitive and follow familiar patterns

Requirements

• At least 3 years as a UI/UX Designer, with a portfolio that shows user flows, usability and visual design for established brands
• Experience designing for AI-driven applications
• Experience designing responsive mobile and web apps, and working knowledge of Material Design and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines
• Strong visual fundamentals: typography, composition, layout, grids and colour, with close attention to detail
• Advanced Figma: team libraries, auto layout, component properties and prototyping
• Experience contributing to a shared design system and giving and receiving design feedback
• Comfortable in a fast-paced agile environment with clear processes, tight deadlines and several projects at once
• Clear written and spoken communication, working remotely and asynchronously across departments
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2) or higher

Will be an advantage

• Hands-on use of AI tools, such as Claude, Cursor or Codex, in the design workflow
• Experience building working prototypes in code with AI tools such as Claude or Cursor (React, Next.js, Tailwind)
• Interaction design experience: states, transitions between steps, feedback and edge cases
