Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities

The Mid-weight Designer is responsible for delivering creative, high-quality design work across multiple formats, bridging concept and execution. Working within a collaborative creative team, this role combines aesthetic sensitivity, technical skill and initiative to transform strategic ideas into compelling visual outputs. The Mid-weight Designer supports senior creatives while confidently managing their own design projects, ensuring all work meets brand standards and audience expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Presentation & Report Design (CORE FOCUS):
• Design, develop, and execute visually compelling presentations and detailed reports for internal and external clients using expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, and other presentation tools.
• Transform complex data, research, and technical content (especially related to sustainability) into clear, visually accessible, and engaging slides and document layouts.
• Incorporate dynamic elements such as animations, transitions, and multimedia to enhance engagement and storytelling within presentations.
• Design Execution: Collaborate with senior team members to design and deliver high-quality creative assets across digital, social, and print formats, ensuring a consistent visual identity.
• Brand & Consistency: Create and maintain strict brand consistency across all presentations, reports, templates, and design assets globally.
• Creative Thinking: Generate conceptual design responses to briefs, translating strategic principles into effective visual solutions for communication objectives.
• Time & Workflow Management: Plan and manage workload efficiently, balancing multiple report and presentation deadlines without compromising quality.
• Communication: Liaise with internal teams and, when appropriate, clients, to align creative outputs with project goals and technical content requirements.
• Trend Awareness: Stay current with presentation design trends, data visualization techniques, and tools to continuously elevate Anthesis’ output.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Professional Experience: 2–3+ years of professional experience in design, with a demonstrable focus on Presentation and Report Design, preferably within an agency or creative studio environment.
• Presentation Software Mastery (ESSENTIAL): Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Keynote is required. Experience with Google Slides and other presentation tools is a plus.
• Design Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma. Basic motion or 3D experience is a plus but not essential.
• Craft & Detail: Strong understanding of typography, composition, and visual hierarchy, with a meticulous eye for detail essential for data integrity in reports.
• Data Visualization: Proven ability to create clean, accurate, and engaging charts, graphs, and infographics.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand complex content and audiences, creating relevant, purposeful design outcomes that aid comprehension.
• Communication: Clear and professional communicator, comfortable working with technical experts, project managers, and clients.
• Teamwork & Initiative: Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
