What is MES?

Manufacturing execution systems (MES) are computerized systems used in manufacturing to track and document the transformation of raw materials to finished goods. MES provides information that helps manufacturing decision-makers understand how current conditions on the plant floor can be optimized to improve production output. MES works as a real‑time monitoring system to control multiple elements of the production process (e.g., inputs, personnel, machines, and support services).

The impact of an MES engineer on the World

MES, as it happens in an orchestra, you need an orchestra conductor to let the magic happen. In a manufacturing site, the orchestra conductor is MES. MES impacts every single aspect of manufacturing, making production more efficient by optimizing material usage and energy, which directly impacts World’s sustainability.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Some experience in the MES/MOM field is a plus, but not required
• Fluent English required.
• Understanding automation systems (DCS, PLC’s SCADA, and Batch Execution systems) is not required but is a plus.
• You are a European citizen or have a valid long‑term European work and stay permit.
