Turner & Townsend en España busca un/a MEP Manager para liderar proyectos de Data Centre. Ubicación preferente en Badajoz y cinco días en obra.

Se requiere título en Mecánica/MEP/Gestión de la Construcción, varios años de experiencia en MEP y experiencia en Data Centre, así como habilidades de planificación, compras y costes. Qualifications

• Universidad en Mecánica, MEP, Gestión de la Construcción o afín.
• Varios años de experiencia como MEP Manager en grandes proyectos.
• Experiencia en proyectos de Data Centre preferida.
• Habilidades avanzadas en hojas de cálculo, redacción de informes y presentaciones.
• Comunicación y organización; capacidad para multitarea.
• Actitud de equipo, automotivación y disposición para apoyar otros grupos.
• Pensamiento emprendedor, creatividad y dinamismo.
• Inglés y español fluidos.

Responsibilities

• Apoyar al Construction Manager en la coordinación de todas las partes durante la fase de construcción.
• Gestionar y coordinar a las partes involucradas (contratistas y equipo de gestión) en su área.
• Apoyar al responsable de compras en la gestión de licitaciones.
• Apoyar al cost manager en costes y cambios.
• Supervisar cumplimiento contractual, plazos, calidad y seguridad en su ámbito.
• Coordinar, junto al Commissioning Manager, las actividades de puesta en marcha.

Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in Spain, we would like to talk to MEP Professionals to join our Data Centre team.

Please note that this position requires candidates to be based ideally in Badajoz or be available to travel and work on-site in Badajoz five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support the Construction Manager in the management and coordination of all parties involved in the project during the construction phase, specifically regarding installations
• Responsible for managing and coordinating the parties involved in the construction (contractor(s) and project management team) in activities related to their specialty
• Support the procurement lead in managing tenders
• Support the cost manager in handling costs and changes related to their specialty
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling activities related to their specialty in terms of contractual compliance, timelines, quality (through the project management team), and safety (through the Health & Safety Coordinator)
• Responsible for coordinating (supporting the Commissioning Manager) the commissioning activities related to their specialty

Requisitos

• Availability to work on-site in Badajoz 5 days per week, or to be based in Badajoz
• University degree in Mechanical, MEP, Construction Management or a related field
• Several years of experience as a MEP Manager for major construction projects; experiences in Data Centre Construction projects preferred
• Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations
• Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multi-task
• Must have a "team attitude", be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required
• Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity and dynamism
• Fluent English & Spanish language
